Hunter Cosmetic and Laser Terms and Conditions

Information contained on this page was correct at the time of writing/sending. Variations of information or pricing provided can change by the time of your appointment.

Booking / Cancellation fee / No-show policy

48 hours notice of rescheduling or cancelling a treatment is required. If your treatment is changed less than 48 hours before your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.  Failure to attend a confirmed appointment with Nurse Sally will result in a flat $250.00. Failure to attend a confirmed appointment with Dr. Kinsella will result in a flat $150.00 fee. This is non-negotiable.

Complimentary consultations are provided with a credit card booking guarantee of $50.00 required to confirm your appointment. Funds are preauthorised but not charged to your card. A $50.00 fee will apply for non attendance to complimentary consultations due to the clinic having to absorb the staffing cost for the designated time.

Providing identification

Every patient will be asked to supply a valid photo ID be it a driver’s licence or passport to their initial consultation.

Children / Minors

We advise all patients not to bring any children, family or friends to your appointment other than carers or essential companions. Children, friends or family will not be allowed inside the clinic.

Procedure fees

Procedure fees vary according to the individual characteristics of the patient, the procedure, the products involved, technologies involved etc. It is a client’s responsibility to be aware of the cost.

Prices are on the clinic website. The prices on our website may be changed without notice.

Payment at time of service

You are responsible for ensuring the payment is made for your account by either cash, Eftpos, credit card, Afterpay, ZipMoney. Accounts will not be given.

Laser procedures

Patients coming in for a laser procedure should refrain from tanning/ spray tan etc for at least four weeks before the procedure. A fee will be charged where applicable if the procedure will have to be postponed due to tanning or changing medical conditions example cold sores. As there is no guarantee with medical procedures it is essential that the patient understands procedures are not an exact science. Every human body is different and may react differently.

Whatever the outcome, the product and or service has been provided, and it is therefore not possible for Hunter Cosmetic and Laser or the consulting doctor/therapist to refund procedure fees. This is non-negotiable. Hunter Cosmetic and Laser will make every reasonable effort to achieve the aesthetic outcome the patient requests, however, no guarantees are offered in relation to the
effects of any procedure performed.

Review of procedure

Review of procedures are done at 2 or 12 weeks depending on the procedure except in the case of cosmetic emergencies for example vascular occlusion or infection which will be seen immediately as an emergency. If a top-up is required for anti-wrinkle injection, this will be done within a 14 to 16-day timeframe. After that, it will be at the cost of the client.

Photography

Every patient will have photography prior to their initial consultation. Patients have the choice to consent or not to consent to these.

Racism, hate speech, threats and cyberbullying

Racism, hate speech, threats and cyberbullying will not be tolerated by our clinic. Hunter Cosmetic and Laser staff reserve the right to cease the clinic/patient relationship immediately should a patient or a proxy of a patient not adhere to this policy.
