PRP is a natural approach to cosmetic injection treatments.
It uses your body’s own platelets and plasma growth hormones to rejuvenate skin and restore early hair loss.
Skin appears smoother and fuller, and hair grows back thicker, with results lasting up to 24 months.
The exciting thing about PRP is that it uses your own platelets and plasma growth hormones, which naturally produce the growth of healthy new cells in your body. That makes this treatment incredibly safe, especially for patients who have allergies or are sensitive to other skin treatments.
These elements are separated from your blood, and then injected into your areas of your concern to stimulate your body’s natural repair process.
PRP is beneficial for improving complexion, skin quality and plumpness. Booking an initial consultation is the best way to learn what is possible.
How PRP treatment works
PRP can be used for skin rejuvenation or to treat early hair loss. It works by using the elements of your blood that contain beneficial growth hormones and healing functions.
A small amount of your blood is taken and put into a centrifuge, where it is spun to separate the platelet rich plasma from your other blood components.
Your platelet rich plasma is then reinjected into the areas you wish to rejuvenate. Injecting this specific blood component into the body accelerates its healing process by stimulating the growth of new cells.
Collagen and elastin production then occurs beneath the skin to restore volume and smooth lines and wrinkles. For hair treatments, dormant follicles are reactivated and the repair process helps to improve hair thickness.
Your own platelets and plasma growth hormones are already programmed to repair the body. That is what makes this treatment so effective and one to consider if you have experienced sensitivity in the past or want to try a new type of cosmetic treatment.

You may experience mild to moderate swelling or bruising, however this will clear quickly and will not prevent you from going about your daily activities.
We recommend 3 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart for skin rejuvenation and 4-6 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart for hair restoration.
We recommend 3 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart.
We assess your medical history to determine whether you are suitable for treatment. Because PRP uses your own blood, factors such as smoking, medications, past illness and stress may affect results. If we feel you will not get the best results from this treatment, we will always be upfront with you – but please know there are many alternatives, including dermal fillers or antiwrinkle injections.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are taking an anti-coagulation treatment, have an autoimmune condition or have experienced some forms of cancer, this treatment may not be suitable for you.
If you’re interested in PRP for hair loss, please be aware that it is only suitable for early hair loss.
